Okay, here is where you're either gonna love us or hate us! We are unrepentant enablers and a-ding-dang proud of it! We are convinced we are coming back as silkworms our next life just so we can be around the stuff all the time. Why should people on the coasts have all the fun? The world is a very small place these days and no fabric retailer can stock everything, so here is our attempt to bring you a fabric mall of sorts, only no noisy teenagers looking to use your credit card and none of those perfume sprayers!

Here is how this is laid out. We worked with some of the online fabric retailers to pick out fabrics that work with the Fall 07/Winter 08 color report. Each of these links takes you right to the retailer that sells that fabric. The beauty of this is that you can coordinate across retailers so that you can have your one of a kind wardrobe without all the bolt diving and swatching. The links each open in a new window so you can keep a shopping cart open for each retailer. A word about shipping for our overseas subscribers, we realize that shipping is expensive but take comfort in the fact that the US dollar is crap so you are actually spending less in your own currency.

We have made this type of advertising available to retailers that we have personally dealt with and have spectacular service. The usual caveat emptor of the web does apply here though, monitors are notorious for altering color of fabrics! While we would love to find a way to correct for that, the best we can do is offer some advice. These retailers use the Pantone Color Shopping Guide. This is the ##-#### number that is listed with each swatch. This is the only way to accurately shop for color online. The guides are available through Pantone for about $20 US. A small price to pay for certainty. Beyond that, Macs tend to make colors brighter and lighter, PCs tend to flatten colors out, just something to keep in mind.
